Idea - Using Hook Ups on a Page

Hook ups are a great way to use ribbon on a page.
I just used glue dots to anchor the ribbon in place.

  1. Cut the ribbon into 2 pieces and have each piece be at least 1 inch longer than your page.
  2. Thread each piece through the end of the hook up from the top under to the bottom and secure with glue dot.
  3. Wrap the extra ribbon around the back of your page and secure with glue dot.

I personally found it easier to put the glue dots on the PAGE rather than the ribbon.
That way, I wasn't trying to handle a 12 inch long piece of glue!

Other Tips:
Don't have matching ribbon that's wide enough to fit through the hook up?
Use two pieces of narrow ribbon. It's a little more labor intensive, but the end result is stunning!

Don't have any ribbon that matches?
cut a narrow strip of paper - it works just as well and you can truly customize the look of your page.
