Using Painted on Titles adds a new and unique look to your pages. Using a foam brush, apply a thin layer of paint across the surface of the foam stamp. If you place the stamp directly into the paint, it goes on too thick and unevenly distributed
Other Paint Ideas
- To put a title or other element evenly across your page, trying creating your own overlay. Stamp or edge the overlay with paint and then tack down on your layout. Use brads, or hide adhesive behind the paint.
- Run your paint brush along the edge of your pages to distress them
- Using a bristle brush, apply dry brushing techniques to raised embossed pieces
- Try brushing the edges of you photos instead of matting them. This give a more distressed look and isn’t as “cutesy” as matting every photo.
- After stamping, place your stamps onto a damp paper towel or into a shallow plastic container with some water so the paint doesn’t dry on the stamps. This makes for an easier clean up.
